SSH Telnet in Hosting
In case you have a hosting account with our company and you would like to manage your content remotely via SSH, you can easily get SSH access to the account via your Hepsia Control Panel. If your package deal does not provide this feature as standard, you can add it with a few clicks from the Upgrades menu. Within the SSH section of the CP, you'll see the host, the port number and the username that you should use when you connect to the account. You can even choose what password you would want to use, since it doesn't have to be the same as the one for the account. We've prepared a lot of Help articles in which you may find all of the commands that you will be able to use with a shared hosting plan, as well as examples of how they're used. Moreover, if SSH access is allowed for your account, you will be able to establish a Secure FTP (SFTP) connection through a standard client such as FileZilla, for instance.
SSH Telnet in Semi-dedicated Hosting
When you have a semi-dedicated server account with our company, you will be able to receive SSH access to it with only a click from the corresponding section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, provided with all accounts. If your package does not support this function by default, you shall be able to include it effortlessly via the Upgrades menu. After you go to the SSH section, you will discover the information you need to connect to the server through a command line or a desktop app - the server/host, the port number, the username and the password. The latter could be updated at any time, if required. These login credentials are also needed if you'd like to upload files using a secure connection and you want to use SFTP, which is also part of the SSH access service we provide. A comprehensive list of the commands that you can carry out shall provide you with a better idea of what tasks you can perform within your account and each is accompanied by a couple of instances of the syntax.
