Custom Error Pages in Hosting
The customized error pages feature is available with each hosting package that we offer and you shall be able to replace all the generic pages with your own with no more than just a few mouse clicks inside your Hepsia hosting CP. You shall have to create the actual files and to upload them to your account, then to set them for a given domain or subdomain via the Hosted Domains section of the Hepsia Control Panel. You can easily do this for every single site hosted inside the account separately, so that every set of customized pages shall have the same design and style as the website it's part of. If necessary, you can always return back to a default page from our system or to a default Apache server page. A different way to set customized error pages is to create an .htaccess file inside the domain/subdomain root folder and to add a few lines in it. If you haven't done this before, you could simply copy the needed program code from our Help article about this.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Adding your pages for each of the four error types to any website hosted in a semi-dedicated server account with us will be really easy and won't take more than a few mouse clicks. When you upload the files to your account, you could go to the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia Control Panel and edit the domains and subdomains listed there using an intuitive interface with drop-down navigation. You may select what page should show up for every single error type. Your options are a standard Apache web server page or a page from our system, and custom made pages. In case you select the abovementioned option, you have to input the link to each and every page inside your account, then save the change. The link or the type of page which will be displayed if a user encounters an error can be changed anytime. If you're more experienced, you can use an .htaccess file in order to set personalized error pages too, as an alternative to using our integrated generator instrument, and should you pick this option, the file must be placed inside the root directory of a particular domain or subdomain.
